Taxi, Lyft, Opoli or Uber at LAX

LAX-it (pronounced LA Exit) is the new way to get to your Taxi, Lyft, Opoli or Uber. Walk or catch the free shuttle outside baggage claim on level one to LAX-it. LAX is undergoing a major transformation. During the construction, lanes in the central terminal area are reduced, making it necessary to temporarily move taxi and ride app pickups to LAX-it until the people mover is competed in 2023. To get to LAXit area, please use LAXit shuttle bus.

For LAXit bus to all Uber/Lyft/Opoli Shared Rides and Express reservations:

  • Step 1: Exit the double doors outside of Baggage Claim area.
  • Step 2: Ride the LAXit green shuttle bus. The drive through the central terminal loop to the lot will take about 10 minutes. All Shared-Ride pickups and Opoli services must occur at LAXit area.
  • Step 3: Provide the Dispatch Agent with your reservation number. The agent will check you in and provide the latest information regarding your reservation.
