What do you research?

I use simulations to study how dust affects the radiation we see coming from black holes. I am currently studying how this dust can launch outflows and generate clumpiness and turbulence in the environment.

Why does space inspire you?

There are always more mysteries to uncover and understand.

If you could instantly travel to any point in the universe, where would you choose to go?

I would love to watch a star go supernova (at a safe distance of course).

Where can you be found when you’re not conducting research?

At the gym, walking to the gym, or talking about the gym.

What book do you wish you could read for the first time again?

Goodnight Punpun by Inio Asano.
